So your favorite Christian Bookstore is going out of business. What do you do? First, shop there until they close and pray for them, but then what?
Some people think Amazon is their only choice, but please use them last (do what you can to support Christian organizations first). Here are some great resources for you.
Also, many stores are on-line, as well, so if you are wanting to buy on-line, you can still shop around. ***Has on-line store
Here is a quote from Libby, manager of the Westminster and Thornton Family Christian Stores:
(in addition to Mardels and Lifeway) "Also I am suggesting if you need books or music or even a Bible you think about getting one through Barnes and Noble. While their Christian section may carry some books Family Christian would not, they are a brick and mortar who needs our support and encouragement to serve the market. If you have the time, even ordering through them would help offset their decline from the Amazon effect."
